This game has been going around the blogosphere recently, and although, like Healing Magic Hands, I haven’t been tagged, I thought it would be something to write about. I’m not sure whether there are many things that readers of my blog might not know about me, as I tend to talk about myself quite a lot, but I will give it a try anyway.
- I only have one kidney
- I once wrote a poem while sitting in the Negev Desert
- Sometimes I get really angry
- I used to play the cello (quite badly). My [borrowed] cello’s name was Spike.*
- I once met Stephen Fry in a bookshop
Hmm, it’s a good job it doesn’t have to be interesting things…
*That doesn’t count as two things because one of them was about the cello, not about me.



I love Stephen Fry. Did you speak to him? Once I saw Eric Clapton in a convertible, driving through Kensington in London. This guy behind me shouted at him: “Hello, Eric!” and Eric Clapton waved. The bizarre part is, I can remember exactly what the guy who shouted: “Hello, Eric!” looked like but I can’t remember Eric Clapton’s face at all.
I also love Stephen Fry, and I did speak to him very briefly to ask him if he would sign my notebook, which he did. I was quite scared, but he was very nice, which was a relief!
