Odds
Well, the concert didn’t go as badly as I feared it might. In fact, most of it went quite well, apart from the bit in I Vow To Thee My Country when we all started singing the second verse when actually we should have been silent and waiting for the piano introduction to finish. It was one of those ‘I know this is wrong but everyone else is singing so maybe I’m wrong to think it’s wrong and it’s too late now so I’d better carry on singing anyway’ moments. Not good.
We watched Mamma Mia! on DVD this afternoon. It was bonkers, but funny and very much a feel-good film. I know have about twenty different Abba songs going round my head!
A Christmas-themed flyer advertising a Halal pizza shop came through our door this afternoon. I love living in a multicultural society.
Ends
It’s the end of November and the end of NaBloPoMo for another year. I think this is probably a good thing. If I say anything to anyone about doing NaBloPoMo again next year, please say something to me to put me off. I think I found it slightly easier going than last year, but it still wasn’t entirely stress-free. Silly me. Anyway, Mr C has said that he’s sure that I can’t go for a week without blogging. Of course I have to prove him wrong, so I will be trying very hard not to write a blog post for at least another week. I don’t think I’m going to find that very difficult, seeing as how I’ve struggled to think of things to write about every day for the past month!
See you sometime in December, I hope.
Wah, I hope some time soon in December! I feel as though I’ve been running down a hill and my feet won’t stop. The blog posts keep splurging out, even though my time would be far better spent on other things (i.e. like writing Christmas cards!!)
