I’ve finally planted some new plants in the front garden, after almost six years of living here. Previously, the front garden only really looked nice in the early spring, when the daffodils come out, but otherwise it looked like a bit of an overgrown wasteland. There’s not very much space for things to grow – most of it is lawn, there’s just a border of soil down one side. Anyway, last weekend I weeded it and dug it over and this morning I put in some new plants.

Platycodon — who would guess that a flower with that name could be so lovely? It sounds like it’s spring in your front yard. Good luck with that garden. xo
Be blessed and your photo’s are so vibrant for this Memorial Day. Thanks.
They are lovely.
I got a book out from the library on Saturday called Learn to Garden (by the Royal Horticultural Society) and have read nearly half of it already! (it is very readable).
Beautiful flowers and photos of them! I love to sit outside in the morning and admire flowers, trees, birds, and sky with clouds parading by. Blessings to you, Lilian
