My photo of the moon went a bit wrong, but it’s still quite interesting. You can see more photos of wrong-ness on this week’s PhotoHunt page.
I know it’s a bit tenuous, but there is one moon and one boat…See more pictures of one-ness at this week’s PhotoHunt page.
Over the weekend, there was a supermoon. Da da da da daaa Supermoon! Erm, this is when there is a full moon and the moon is as near to the earth as it ever gets during its cycle. You can read about it on the NASA website.
The moon was really bright here last night. I tried to take a photo of it, but this was the best I could do:
It looks a bit like there were two moons, but this is just my dodgy photography!
Another tricky one! I’m not sure whether my photos are really acceptable for the theme, but I couldn’t think of what else to do. As well as it being the 9th anniversary of 11th September 2001, it’s also the 9th anniversary of the day Mr C and I met. So, in his honour, and because he loves ships more than most things on the planet, I am posting a photo of the QE2 which we went to see leaving port at Southampton in November 2008.
I thought I would post this second photograph because it will soon be the time of year for the Chinese Mooncake Festival, which is an anniversary of sorts – or a least something that happens every year! I am not entirely sure that the ship in the picture is the QE2, as there were other ships in the vicinity on the day. Unfortunately, Mr C is not in at the moment so I can’t check with him!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr C for nine years of love and friendship and for putting up with all my odd ways.
Almost forgot to say – you can view other takes on this week’s theme at the Photo Hunt page.
