• I missed a thing from November’s round-up: we went to a surprise birthday party for one of Mr C’s colleagues. It was much fun. There was a lot of party food, face painting, and fake moustaches galore.
  • We visited in-laws and outlaws for Christmas. Babymouse had a lovely time getting lots of attention and more presents than everyone else! We almost had a white Christmas – there was snow on the ground on Boxing Day.
  • Babymouse is still practising standing up. She has eaten quite a wide variety of foods now, but biscuits seem to be her favourite. And my mum’s trifle.
  • I managed to go to my work’s Christmas do, which was good. I saw lots of my lovely colleagues. I can’t believe there’s now only about 6 weeks until I go back to work.

  1. Aaaaah, glad that Babymouse had such a great first Christmas. We had a houseful this year and it was hectic with a 9 month old baby crawling round and a lively 3 year old. Plastic tablecloth under the table to catch food and playdough, toys and wrapping paper everywhere, highchair, nappies, food that babies and children like, chaotic but fun 🙂
